Star Ring A installation manual

Scope: currently sold second-generation Star Ring A for painted and decorative-painted walls. The concealed mounting plate is white; a standard 86-type back box is required separately.

Installation space: standard 86-type back box at least 48mm deep, recessed 10mm below the final finished surface. Allow for the final finish thickness when positioning it.

Before construction, confirm the wall finish, back box position and depth, selected function modules, quantities and arrangement. Provide the relevant documents to the design and installation teams.

Smart switch wiring: both single- and dual-circuit smart touch switches require live and neutral wires, even for conventional use only.

Wiring reference: for the painted-wall version, also refer to page 8 of the panel installation manual. The relevant installers should carry out cutting, assembly and wiring according to the original manual.
