SELECTION NOTES / 08
Planning flush switches and sockets by beds, in pantries and on cabinets
Start with everyday actions and appliance positions, then plan functions, quantities and finishes. At bedsides, consider reach and charging; in pantries, plugs and cables; on cabinet sides and islands, check installation space against panel construction.
Bedside: start within reach
List bedside lighting, phone charging and lighting control needs. Position modules in relation to the bed, bedside table and finished surface, allowing for furniture obstruction and space with plugs inserted.
The Stone Bedside case illustrates the arrangement of functions and materials. Use photographs to study the spatial treatment, not to calculate installation dimensions or infer unconfirmed product models.
Pantry: consider appliances and cables together
Record actual equipment plugs, ratings and quantities, and consider whether inserted plugs obstruct countertop use. USB charging and appliance power serve different purposes and are not directly interchangeable.
The Pantry and Window Coffee Corner show possible power-point arrangements. The project’s design and installation teams should check the relationship between actual equipment and on-site water and heat sources.
Cabinet sides and islands: check the structure first
For wood or stone, start with Star Ring B, checking panel thickness and rear clearance and confirming arrangement and grain direction before cutting. For painted walls, start with Star Ring A.
When using Dining Island, Dark Wood or Timber Living as references, adapt module positions to the actual cabinet construction and equipment rather than copying the photographs directly.
Turn references into a practical selection list
Record positions, materials, module quantities, equipment and wiring, structural dimensions and construction stage. Clearly mark any unresolved details before discussing them with QIANXING.
Case pages retain their source credits. Where a city, year, product generation or model has not been disclosed, do not assume it when selecting. Refer to the relevant documents for product and installation requirements.
Requirements at a glance

| Pantry | Appliance plugs, ratings, quantities and cables |
| Cabinet side / Island | Panels, rear clearance, openings and grain direction |
| All positions | Actual wiring and installation requirements for the selected system |
Frequently asked questions
Can I determine opening dimensions from case photographs?
No. Photographs are not dimensioned installation drawings. Use the installation documents for the corresponding currently sold structure.
Can I identify module models by their appearance in a case?
Use only the information disclosed in the case. Appearance does not establish an unconfirmed model, generation or power rating.
